i had my hideaway tied into my rear speakers on 23 tacoma. I installed alpine power pack and moved hideaway connection in front of amp and off front speakers. Now i can't get any lights or anything on sub. Im thinking its not getting signal to turn the sub on. I have attached a pic of how i have it tied in. image0 (13).jpg

Remember it's something simple, check connections and fuses.

do you have a volt meter?

have you verified that the amp is getting correct power and turn-on signal?

It was working before i made this switch. I do have a volt meter somewhere but don't really know how to use it.

I was able to put a multimeter on the plug going into the sub. The power has 12 volts. And I am getting 6 volts on the lead that goes behind the radio. I’m not sure what reading I should get for that.

if you can take a picture and edit it somehow to indicate where you're measuring, that would help a ton. i think you're saying the power/ground is 12v, but the turn-on wire is only getting 6v. which should be incorrect. when the truck is turned on, the trigger and power should both be receiving an equal 12v.
