For those that have installed the Kicker Hideaway, did you install under driver seat or behind rear seat?

If behind rear seat, is it behind driver or passenger?

    Has anyone swapped locations?

    Any comments to either or?

Had one under my driver seat in my 2010 sport access cab no problems whatsoever.

I have the loaded kicker 8" solobaric box behind the left rear seat, its absolutely perfect and is pretty damn respectable for an 8. With the grille added, its nice and snug, nothing moves, nothing can hit the surround. There would be room for the key 500.1 beside it vertically, i have it with the 200.4 and a fuse box in the left side cubby though. I freakin love it. I'll grab a pic in a little while, I have to go pick up my SOS Offroad sliders. :D

The grille is way off color but since it won't be seen on else the seat is up and carseat latched down, I'm not concerned about it. The grille is aluminum, for the record. In you're dead set on under the seat, get the hideaway. If you choose on behind the seat, i really recommend you consider this. The seat being up does have an effect but it's tolerable to have everything be invisible. It has a hilarious amount of bite for such a small sub. If you ever doubting, the front speaker's range, it's definitely full range, I may have to bump the HPF up to above subsonic because the sub sure plays it!
