I’m going to install a kicker sub/amp on my truck with factory head unit and was wondering which wire to tap the remote wire into (3rd gen taco)

How's that sound? Looking to do a system in my truck but can't decide if I wanna do one or two subs.

Is great. It hits hard and sounds better then some American bass and jbl subs. I have a 500 watt amp and a lc2i line out converter.

Like the looks of your setup. Did you build the box, or order one that was pre-made for the Tacoma? Also, is that the Rockford punch series?

I ordered the box from Amazon and I will try and look for the link. The subs are the 10” primes.

I've been wanting to try out one of those Amazon boxes, but I'm afraid they wont sound to my liking. I also don't want to take off the plastic backing of my seats on my 2nd gen. 10s or 12s?

I’m not an expert on the sounds of boxes because these are my first subs. They are 10” rockford primes and I’m my opinion they sound great. I don’t like the sound of kicker.

Yea I've never really been too fond of kickers. I've usually rocked 2 12s in the trunk, but its different now with a truck lol. I have 2 12 Kenwoods in my Accord that bump HARD. Trying to get some where around there, but these boxes for the truck don't allow for a lot of air flow. ********* has a box for full size 12s, but that shit is expensive.

Yup with the 2 10” primes and the lc2i my subs are louder then both my cousins 2 12” kickers and another’s 2 12” jbl subs. The lc2i in my opinion makes a big difference.
