That doesn't sound like clipping it sounds like a bad connection. Did it do the same thing sitting still?

Not doing it at all with the stock speakers in?

    Too much.
Agreed. Clipping and cutting are two different things...

My 1998 yukon has a bad pin in the harness that the adapter harness plugs into, my front right will cut out over bumps or just not be playing and i have to wiggle it in dash for it to play. The pin its self is wobbly in the hole within the harness. Could maybe be something like that.

Is it still happening with oem speakers in?

Yeah I tried everything including putting the factory speakers back in. Sitting still, driving, doesn't matter.

Would a LOC lose cause it? I have had that in over a year. I have reinstalled the factory speakers too.

You have to look at it from the Service side. You have aftermarket equipment (sub and amp) and are having radio issues. Dealership will almost always point the finger at the aftermarket equipment as it is the easiest thing to do.

I would disconnect the sub and amp and test your OEM speakers again. This way your eliminating your aftermarket equipment. If it works fine, then put in your aftermarket door speakers and see if everything is still good.

Did you use an Line Output Converter (LOC) to get RCA connections for your amp or did you use a high level connection on the amp?

I am going to ask a stupid question here....did you get the correct ohm speaker to replace the OEM speakers? I know alot of companies are making more than 4ohm speakers to accommodate the OEM stereo upgrade options out there.

    Loc might be doing it

do all speakers cut out or just the one tapped.

Check there are no loose wires anywhere or fuses. Make sure everything on the back of the radio is tight.

If you have a freind with a tacoma swap in there entune and see if its isolated. Put yours in theres and see if it cuts out in theres.. if it does i would say its the radio
