OP, I would have done the same thing at your age, and I'm not trying to insult your youth and inexperience here. Not at all. I was also quick-to-anger, especially regarding my family, vehicle, friends, and my girlfriends, in that order. Although, I got a chuckle at the thought of this dumbass tumbling out the back, he could have been seriously hurt, or worse. After a little bit of age and experience, some things are just best left to the authorities. Once you have established a hard-earned career--possibly family too--and start making your own income, you quickly realize that the threat of an expensive criminal and/or civil prosecution loom only a hair's breath away, and careless rash decisions often have consequences that change lives forever--and not just your own.

Now, if you had asked the shit-for-brains to get out of your truck and he refused, I would have told him I was calling the cops. If, at that point, he became aggressive, I would have leveled him, or driven off to the nearest police station with him in the back of the truck, all the while making a phone call to the police explaining this kid was threatening you and refusing to leave your vehicle.

Didn't mean to parent you, but I've been there. I should have been arrested 20 times for the shit I did in my youth; some of it far far worse than what you did... and I did end up hurting people--and I regret my immaturity. Caveat: A truck is one thing, but any threat of physical force, especially towards family, should be dealt with in the most decisive of ways. I leave no room for discussion concerning that issue--you do what you must.

    Just some food for thought.

I have no problem hitting the gas, kid got what he deserved. Especially if you have had issues with him in the past. That's the problem with kids today. No respect for anything. I might have gotten out and beat his ass if he was a repeat offender. I would have loved to see him fall off the back of the truck! Good for you. I work too hard to have some little punk messing up my truck.

Nope :D in the Parking Lot

    Me too buddy.

Well so the truck cools/heats the inside. I see no point in just cranking up and just hauling ass down the road. o.o

Well Personally i would have gotten out and speak a couple of choice words. I think you slightly over reacted but seeing this guy as a d-bag I would prob do the same thing.

    Just my 0.02$ subbed.

I didn't say you did. Re-read my post if necessary.

To clarify, I was talking about the direction the thread went when discussing all that shooting b.s. was brought up.
