I'm not working at the moment and money is tight. I know people who can fix it cheap but I'd rather watch the kid pay for his actions. I want it done at the dealer or a good shop so it looks the same as it did before he hit it.

Those of you advocating attacking the guy in return, please remember this:

    1. They are both adults.
    2. Hitting someone is battery, a felony offense.
    3. Commiting a violent felony in response to someone committing damage to property is not defensable (except for castle doctrine, which does not apply in this case).

You might not think anyone would care, but all you have to do is hit the guy who decides that instead of fighting he's going to call 911, and it's you not him who is going to jail.

There's a reason why, when you get older, you're also supposed to grow up. Kudos to the OP for doing the right thing.

Same sort of thing happened to me once. This punk kid was walking past my new truck, fighting with his girlfriend. Suddenly out of nowhere he turns and punches a dent into the bedside!! WTF??? I made him come inside and call his dad and tell him what he had just done...he was crying like a little bitch by the time I was done with him.
In the end, I had insurance pay for all of it at no cost to me. Hitting him would have felt very good, for a second, until the cops showed up and hauled me away.
You're doing the right thing, take him to court and do it the right way.

Yeah, I wouldn't like to physically hurt anyone but my truck didn't deserve it neither.

eh dents add character.... those dents could always remind you of how bad his face looked when you were done and theyd be happy dents...

Maybe im just a sicko but i just sit around and dream of ways to torture people for doing stupid shit. Ex. just this morning i almost got hit by one of my asshole neighbors doing burnouts in the aparment complex. Ive been dreaming all morning about tying his ass to a chair and skinning his children alive while he watched. let him live knowing his being an asshole caused his children to die a misserable death and he has to live with that guilt forever

my vote is in for just dropping in a 6" susp, 3" body , you said he drives and integra , so i bet 37's would do , than just try to park next to him , and "accidently" have your throttle stick as you drive onto his hood/windshield
