    Fairy Ass Laws:

    - federal based, consistent application across the country

take a Canadiam Firearms Safety Course

    • Pass that and pass a criminal record check for
    • no serious offences involving violence, drugs, or weapons charges
    • 28 day waiting period for first time applicant

and you receive your Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) that is good for 5 years.

You can now purchase ammunition and any unrestricted class of firearm - essentially any non-automatic long gun. No registration required.
    Pretty simple.

Firearms are classified as Prohibited, Restricted, and Non Restricted

Prohibited are the fully automatic, and handguns with barrels shorter than 4.1" and other specific guns designed for mass people destruction. duh.

Restricted are handguns, folding stock type weapons, and semi-auto assault type carbines.

You can upgrade to a Restricted PAL, and it focus's on the transport of the firearm. Must have a trigger lock during transport, not be in open view while you are not in the vehicle, and show a Authorization to Transport Permit. If you regularly transport from home to the range, no problem. If you decide to transport your restricted firearm elsewhere than permitted on your ATT, then you call it in, and you receive a temporary #.
Basically, if your Restricted Firearm is not where its supposed to be at, then you have some explaining to do.

You do not have to declare you have a firearm if you are pulled over by the police, unless you are specifically asked if you are carrying a fire arm.

Open carry of Restricted firearms is only permitted to authorized commercial businesses such as Security Firms.

seems pretty reasonable to a non-gun based culture, and I understand many folks in other countries would roll over in their graves, and call this restrictive of personal freedoms.

True that it's reasonable for a non-gun based culture, but it still makes my head spin, simply because I've been around guns my entire life and have grown up in an extremely pro-gun society in rural GA. I once saw a shirt that said, "I need an AR-15 because the second revolution won't be fought with muskets." Generally, when people ask why I need one, I either tell them it's none of their business or because I can lol.

    Now you're spacing punctuation.. :goingcrazy:

I'm sure it's fine also, but it IS McDonald's. I've had some things that I thought would be fine that turned out to be pretty gnarly from their fine establishment.

We bought one of those once after 6 years of McRib plastering every TV news station and newspaper and holy hell, it is awful. Really, really awful.

Also you forgot to space the comma, sir. ;)

    My thoughts on poutine:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekzaRINoe0I

I can't believe I went that whole pro-gun speech without one single 'Merica' thrown in there

I used to love the McRib until my fiancee told me it had some of the same ingredients as yoga mats; that pretty much ruined it for me. The McDonald's fish sandwich sounds pretty God-aweful, as well. If I ever do eat McDonald's, I try to stick to their breakfast or a simple cheeseburger, although I'm not too sure what's in those either :spy:
