Update from this past weekend. Received my 18" Magnaflow Muffler and PLX Wideband. Had a shop weld up my muffler and bung for the wideband. Also got my bed bar tire carrier back from being modified. A buddy welded on some gussets to stop my spare from wobbling when mounted. Everything came out great! I also got my wideband wired up. Just waiting for a gauge mount to finish it.

God I hate what the sun has done to my roof and hood...

Anyways, next up on the mod list should be the URD 7th Injector Kit. Just doing all my research so the install goes smooth.

I used to take my 4wheeler to the spillway all the time. Haven't been there in years, I take it you just went ride around down there? Any other trucks doing the same?

Yea I just went ride around an checked it out. I used to go with my four wheeler and dirt bike all the time when I was younger and lived Norco (right next to the spillway). I don't usually see many trucks out there besides guys fishing in ponds and stuff. I usually don't go much because I hate mud. It's pretty dry right now though. Wish they allowed more access for trucks and had actual trails.

Quick update. Just placed my order with URD for their 7th injector kit, 2.2" pulley, and 170 degree thermostat :burnrubber:.

Should get this installed in 2 weeks once I am out of school.

    Forgot to post this.

Cut some holes in my bumper skid the other day. I love the way it looks! The spacing between them is a hair off. I got excited and rushed with the measurements . Barely noticeable though.

Started on a list of projects yesterday.

    - URD 7th Injector Kit (main project)
    - Starter
    - Fuel pressure regulator
    - Fuel filter

So far I have removed the starter, removed the bed, installed the fuel pump, mounted the 7th injector, replaced fuel filter, replaced the fuel pressure regulator, and started to replace the spark plugs that came with the URD kit. It started to rain so I had to stop. Tomorrow I will be picking up my new starter and installing it along with finishing the plugs and putting the supercharger back on. I will then work on installing the piggyback. Hopefully I will be done by Friday!

    Progress pic.

Got my URD 7th Injector Kit finished up last weekend. Man do I love it! I still have to install the 2.2" pulley and 170 degree thermostat. I will probably do the pulley this weekend and the thermostat next weekend. Currently at full boost with the stock pulley (6-7 psi) I can get my AFR down to ~11. I figure when I add the additional boost with the smaller pulley, it will bring my AFR up into the mid/upper 11's which will be perfect.

    Anyways, here's a few pics.

Made a quick run through the Bonnet Carre Spillway with dyl0n. Its the closest thing we got to Pismo :p.

Also got my URD 2.2" pulley installed with a new supercharger belt. No more squeal at 3500+ rpms. The extra boost is nice as well! I think next will be an o2 calibrator to help lower my AFR in low boost. I want to protect my engine as much as possible. Oh, and I threw on a TRD radiator cap because I like to spend money.

Got a few things done this weekend. Changed out my front diff fluid. Finally installed my wheelers front brake lines and flushed/bled the brakes. I also mounted up a Blitzpro amber LED light to my bed bar to see how it would look. Now I just need to wire it up. I also played with the timing map for my URD 7th injector kit to try and knock out some ping I'm getting at around 2000 rpm. Hopefully I can tune it out with some patience!

Only pic I got is of the light mounted.

Found a SMOKIN deal on some Doug Thorley headers on Craigslist. They should be here tomorrow. Not sure when I will install them. I want to make sure I have all the tools, gaskets, and hardware I need. I heard the install is a PITA, but I'm willing to give it a shot!

I also think I have a small radiator leak. If this is true, I will replace the radiator when I change out my thermostat for the 170 degree thermostat I have. I plan to change out both radiator hoses as well.

Small update. Found a small crack in my radiator. Not leaking too bad. I ordered a replacement from Toyota and should be installing Friday along with my 170 degree thermostat. I went ahead and ordered new upper and lower radiator hoses as well as both new water outlet and inlet gaskets. Got the Doug Thorley headers in and opened the box to find the passenger side header was cut and welded back together. It looks like nothing was changed geometrically, but I am sending in the header for DT to examine just to be safe. If all is good I am going to have them re-coat the header and then I will be ready to install them!

Dang, too bad about the headers. Hopefully it will all work out. BTW, how much a difference was adding the 7th? I remember you saying you weren't too impressed with the SC by itself, but how about now?

I'm not too concerned about the header. After further investigation and contacting the previous owner, I'm 90% sure it will work. I would test it if they weren't such a PITA to install. I'm just sending them to DT so I can be sure and get them re-coated before I install them.

The 7th injector made a noticeable difference. My favorite features are the closed loop enrichment and the timing retard. I actually rarely use the 7th injector for daily driving since it doesn't kick on until 3000 rpms. This is why I like the closed loop enrichment. I have it set to kick on from 1 psi + of boost. So when I am just cruising at around 2000 rpms and get on the throttle a little bit to get into low boost, my AFR drops to around 12.5 from 1-3 psi of boost which is real nice. The timing retard has helped with my ping. I had to add in some more retard to the pre loaded map at 2000-2500 rpm/3-5 psi of boost. I am still playing with the timing map to see what works best. Overall I say it was WELL worth the money. The extra power is nice but the best part is knowing my engine is being safely boosted.

Good to know. I won't be able to afford one for a while, but wanted to plan my next mods accordingly. Thanks for the response.
