    Update:

Installed an Airaid MIT. The intake is a bit louder under heavy throttle. I'm sure there are some small performance gains (especially with the S/C). I also began a custom bed rack build. This is my first fab project so it's mainly a learning process. Its nothing super special just a simple low pro bed rack (similar to Box Rocket's rack). I will post up some pics later!

    Good news!!

Sent off the passenger side header I was unsure about and Doug Thorley confirmed that it will for sure fit! I am having them re-coat the header and then send it back. Once I get it back, I will start the install. I'm hoping to get started not next week but the week after!

Finishing up my first fab project. Nothing great but it works for what I want. I learned a lot about welding from this project. I plan on upgrading to a better welder in the future so I can weld with a bit more confidence . The shit Harbor Freight welder isn't terrible. It works good for small projects like this. I think I'm gonna add some more cross bars then grind it down and paint it.

    Update:

Got my rack painted and installed. I didn't add the cross bars like I wanted but it still works fine. I will probably add them in the future to make it a little stronger. It turned out better than I thought.

Also, my headers are still waiting to be put on. I didn't have time this summer like I thought I would so it looks like it will be a winter break job now. Other than that, that's about it. The truck has been running great and never lets me down. I have been spending a little more time on my other toy (1997 Mustang GT Saleen). Just catching up on some over due maintenance. That's all for now.

Dude it's so easy. Got it from Toyota. It's the blue tint not the grey

I never knew which one was which. I would have thought grey was the non reflective. Hmm looks like I know what my next mod is.

I ordered the grey first and it was the mirror shit. They was like we don't return special order stuff. But I talked them into returning since I was gonna get the blue ones

Small update. I FINALLY got the header back from Doug Thorley. It looks great! I purchased an o2 simulator from a fellow TW member. I plan on going catless once I install the headers. Now I should have everything I need to get these headers on. I should be able to install them some time in December. Also, here's a few pics of how the trucks looking now a days.

Red TRD sticker on the SC :)

I also got an 01-04 style rear glass off eBay. I want to upgrade my quarter glass and rear glass to the 01-04 style to get rid of the ugly reflective/mirror glass that's on the truck now. I also like the tri-pane windows better.
