Has anyone bought the Kikito hard folding bed cover from Amazon?

It looks exactly like the Rugged Liner Rugged Cover II I had on my '17 Tacoma. The latches and everything look identical. I really liked the cover because it was nearly waterproof. Wonder if it's the same cover?

Think I answered my own question. There's also the Oeedro brand cover that's also identical, so I'd say there's one company making the cover for various brands, so you can save quite a bit over the Rugged Liner brand if you do a little research.

See if you can find it on AliExpress if you don't mind 1 - 3 week ship time?

I have the short bed version of this cover on my work truck currently. It's worked fine for what that truck does, but I also had good reasons for taking it off my personal truck and going with a more expensive tonneau after a year or so.

Pros are that it's an easy install on existing bed rails, fairly cheap for a hard cover, sits on top of the bedsides so it maximizes space underneath, cover itself is reasonably waterproof, pretty strong so you can put some weight on it, and is pretty easy to remove entirely if you need the bed uncovered.

Cons are that it's pretty heavy and thus awkward to remove and handle, since it's a trifold you can only uncover 2/3rd of the bed because the third section at the cab doesn't fold up, it doesn't come with materials to see the bed gaps and the seal at the front end isn't very good so you will get water and dust leaks at the front and back without modifications or adding foam pieces, and the cover is annoying to open and fold because you have to individually undo every single anchor latch.

I offroad often, and also found this cover does a poor job at staying seated properly when subjected to lots of tilting and vibrations, which led me to pull it off my personal Taco and put on a cover that sat lower and was more firmly anchored in between the bed rails, and which also could open over 90% of the bed instead of 66% for better access while being much easier and quick to open/close. For context, running a light washboard road caused the entire cover to partly unlatch and start slewing across the now partly open bed horizontally.

I also had an issue where mine came missing a couple pieces of hardware needed to install it. Fortunately the company contact on Amazon got back to me within a few hours and had replacement parts for what I needed and a few more on my doorstep in a couple days at no charge. A bit annoying that happened but they get good marks for customer service from me for it at least.
