Interesting but I was looking for a more cost effective and practical solution. But if money were no object. .......?

Most people would tell you to move. I say forget the kill switch and use your truck as bait.

Use my ride to hunt and run my dogs which puts me in secluded areas often. As far as using my Taco as bait goes, NOT! In the nanny state of Massachusetts I would have to drive my truck into my living room and arm the perp with a bazooka to avoid prosecution for taking the POS out. And if my truck rolled outside my house I would have to drag it back in before law enforcement arrived.

Yeah, at my business we hide them in one of the factory switches. The most common is pulling your high beams on and then starting your car. if you don't pull that knob back, no-go.

We had ours wired through the cigarette lighter socket. You had to use a phone charger we rewired to make the truck start.

had a 70 A body i built up from nothing, and it was hot and an attention getter so i had to make it impossible to hot wire.

    - installed concealed rocker switch under the dash kinda above (not quite but almost) the steering column. it switched the electric fuel pumps. you could start the car and get about 20 feet only, so i also installed..
    - kill switch on battery terminal, which was relocated to the trunk which was locked.

i knew another guy that installed a pressure switch in the driver seat. kinda crazy but he had it setup so if you had any weight on the driver seat the car would not ignite. he had to start the car without loading the seat. pita but afaik it was never stolen. lol

I might do two. Toggle switch hidden somewhere in the cab and a disconnect under the hood. Under the hood probably just a heavy duty throw switch off the battery so I can work on electrical stuff without removing one of the terminals.

If you have a manual shift hide the switch under/inside the shift boot.
My sons car the heat/ac stuff was removed so we wired the fan switch for a kill switch. His jeep we hid a push button switch inside the cig lighter socket.

Mandatory tint, in-channel visors, and 265/75R16 MT Toyos.
Does that mean it's more of a starting step and not a kill switch? Wouldn't a kill switch mean you hit it and the motor stops?

That would suck you're driving at night hit the high beams and off the truck goes lol.

so what would people usually put in the circuit?
One of us stated the fuel pump is a good component to wire through a switch. Anything else?
