    Sorry to hear about the damage, but happy you're alright.

    Also, I got a '12 regular cab recently, and I've been fretting a bit about the front bumper as it seems like the plastic's pretty weak and I'd get a lot of expensive damage in a crash like this. Comforting to see that the truck stood up pretty well (all things considered).

    Just let her know if you had a plate bumper for that accident you most likely at worst would have had a few scratches and not the pain in the ass of getting it fixed. ARB.

    I always thought the insurance company was paying for your loss, not the new stuff.

    Anything that was not on it when it was made is yours. Take it off.

    If they say anything just tell them it was not on there when made and you did not pay extra insurance for that stuff to be on there.
