I've been trying to work with a coworker who claimed the same.. but the phone left a ton of artifacts, which is no good in these tiny parts. He's been working on it (or had my parts) for well over a month now.

I'm beginning to think that I should just invest in a new hobby myself so I wouldn't have to depend on other people haha

 

From what I've been told a lot of it has to do with using an iPhone that has LiDar in it. My phone is older so it doesn't have it. I'm thinking about upgrading to the new phone (trying to convince myself) then I may try to see how it goes. I've also been thinking about getting the Rev POP 3 3D scanner it's about $650 with the turntable and is supposed to be pretty good. Life has just gotten in the way of me spending that, every time I convince myself something else breaks and I have to fix or replace it.

 

Totally understand that! I'm gonna do some research and see what's out there.
