Congrats Craig and thanks for the update! We are picking up #160 from Portland potentially the first week of January and can't wait. We'd love to take you up on that offer to see in inside! I have a few things I want to measure out. I want to get a foot rest / storage box for under the AC unit, and want to cover up the cubbies with a glass board / cork bulletin board for travel photos (as you can see i've had way too much time to think about the layout of the Kimbo lol). You traveling for the holidays or will be around?

PS - Once I get mine, there will be three Kimbo owners in Bend, OR!

Hey gang, dumb question but where does the used water go for the sink / shower go? Is there an internal grey water tank under the sink?

Do you know how many amps it’s pulling when on low and high? With 800 watt hours at 12v is about 66 amp hours. You may just need a larger battery. There a lot of options for 100ah. I went with 200ah battery and don’t have to worry.

Kind of a bummer about the teak...it's much mo' better for handling moisture. Strange to me that they aren't able to source teak from anywhere currently...I'd love to hear what you take is on the new battery bank they are using now that they've ditched GoalZero. I've still got a long ways to wait for my #211, but doing lots of planning in preparation. Considering foregoing the wood storage unit with the built in table and instead making my own system there with pull out milk crates for storage similar to what Taxa does in their campers.

Do they offer a Rotopax mount? Don't remember seeing that. Congrats on the new Kimbo!

Hi bstadoo......the new battery pack seems to be robust....I'll let you know later on as I am heading to the pacific coast for a trip this week to do a "shake down" on the Kimbo so I can learn some stuff and be ready for some long trips. I think the rotopax unit (3.5 gal) was about $125. they don't advertise this as an option but they can add things within reason if it doesn't have a lot of engineering and you give them plenty of time in the order process. I know "Tiny _livin" added a full wifi setup which is great for working out of the Kimbo.

Interesting to see Dometic get on this. I'm using a $15 one from Amazon for the sink build in my wedge, looks like it's going to work great.

Well you can add my close friend down the street to the list of new Kimbo owners. She emailed looking for any Black Friday Sales o_O. No sales of course, but there was a spot to jump in and take over someone else's build. It's a pretty much a fully loaded one without the shower and fridge, but including the new ski rack system. The Kimbo, #187, will be ready at the end of March approximately.

There is a new option available apparently but not advertised yet, a second sleep platform. Interested to see how they designed it. It's great to hear that they are still innovating and providing new extras. Looking forward to new designs for this one.

Awesome that she could get in - black friday sale...that's rich!

Second platform, I've been stewing on a design since it was purchased for my mother-in-law to travel with us but have been procrastinating something fierce. It'll be great to see what they've come up with.

I like to think of procrastination as consciously being patient. Sometimes it pays off!

Anyone having the chrome plastic rub strip on the inner struts pulling off (suppose it's due to expansion/contraction)?
