Thanks!! The hot water heater is setup with the quick release system that the Joolca comes with. So you can easily switch from faucet use, outdoor shower, or removal. I just did t want 2 different water heat/pump setups in 1 small area but also really wanted to shower setup that the Joolca provided, so I decided to try the Joolca setup for everything.

The small shelf next to the bed is one 1 bought online called BedSelfie I think, definitely recommend it. shelf above the fridge is anchored to are the vertical support of the kimbo. The metal wall for the little closet area and then the wood structure next to the bed. We also drilled it to the the 3 factory inserts that Kimbo provided. And the small baskets are riveted the as the same way Kimbo does theirs, I just moved them around. :)

Thanks Mate! Yeah there’s pros/cons to Custom interiors, but I’m definitely happy with the way it’s turning out, took a fair bit of time to plan, but thanks to everyone for sharing info on here for inspiration as well. Let me know if you’ve got any questions!

Ordered end of August 2021. So almost exactly 8 months. A long wait but this forum helps the time go.

Joby1, this is an awesome build! definitely going to steal that shelf idea for my build. With that being said, what are the black circular attachments/fasteners you're using to mount the netting that you've got holding stuff onto the shelf? Poor description so I attached a zoomed in photo with the hardware circled.

    Nice work!

thanks!!! Those black circles are the attachments that the netting came supplied with. They work well, and I just picked up some 1 1/2” length 10/32” screw and used the factory kimbo inserts to attach the black circles to.

His original videos on the Kimbo are what sold me on them. A year and a half later and they're still the best videos showcasing the Kimbo. Looking forward to more content from him and seeing what kinds of modifications he makes!

Was watching his first Kimbo one several times while waiting on mine. Defiantly helped the time go by. Dropped him a line and let him know about all of your builds here. If he's looking for any ideas or advice, you all have him covered. Plus a lot of you are in the same neck of the woods.

Hahaha. Right. That truck is pretty sick though. Guess he missed the post about only needing a stock truck with airbags and E-rated tires. ;)

Very nice video, really good description of the detail. BUT the background music drove me crazy! Too loud and way too monotonous.

Would anyone be willing to comment on what the dimensions are for the factory Kimbo baskets (LxWxH), as well as what hardware is used to mount it to the walls?

    would appreciate it!

You'll have to double check but I believe they are 10/32nd machine screws at a proper length. They just screw in place of the black thumb screws with a large washer to hold the basket. I just ran into Lowes near Kimbo and grabbed them the day I picked it up.

Talon Sei has started a FB group for current and future Kimbo owners. Should be another great place like this forum to share photos, experiences and build ideas
