You will be fine, most manufactures use the COM bearings from the factory.

They are a better product but the cost vs longevity is still out for debate since location, weather, road salt, luck, vehicle weight, ect all play a factor in how long the Teflon will last in the bearings.

You need the rear upper pin bushings? I have them but they are not on the website. Give me a few to get them loaded.

yes sir those are the ones I need for my kings. I saw on your page you have them but just for icons

Another question, do the front and rear kings use the same rod end bushing ? should I order qty.4 of the FKSSX10T-F1 to cover all 4 shocks ?

The bearings are the same but the spacers are different. IMO the FKSS are over kill for the rear lowers that generally last 2-3X longer than the front lowers.

I must have bad luck then, one of my lowers in the rear is shot. Found it a few weeks ago while putting in new top bushings.

Tim are you still in the process of moving shop / not accepting full rebuilds at this time? Had a few things come up after ordering these parts from you, may end up paying someone to do a full rebuild.

@TMFF Hey Tim! Are the coilover lower mount bearing kits with the King reducers on your site the same for King 2.5 coilovers for a +2LT Total Chaos race kit?

I know the rod ends are different for King LT coilovers over the OEM 2.5, but wasn't sure if that meant different reducers as well.

Glad to see your business doing well. You rebuilt my old coilovers back in 2017 or 18 when I still lived in CO.

    Hey Bert!!!

If you have OEM lower bolts what I sell will work, bearing and spacer wise. If you have 0.5" bolts like most LT kits, the bearing is the same but the spacers are different. I will need to know the inner width of your lower mount to supply the correct spacer. If the spacers come out of the old bearings then all you need is bearing kit in the level of prefered race material and to reuse your existing spacers.

    Thanks Tim!
I think my spacers are OK, but don't know for sure (plan to pull them next weekend). Yea the bolt is 0.5" and the LCA is the Total Chaos +2. I might just order the bearing and c-clips this week from you. I don't have many miles on these bearings, but I've got a mystery noise on that side and this is one of the last potential sources.

    Hey TMFF,
Are you out of stock for King 2.5 - COM10T 2.5 Coilover Lower Mount Replacement Bearing Kit ? I need to replace mine.
It'll be my first time replacing them.
Has anyone kept the coilover on the truck and only disconnected the bottom to replace this? Or do I need to take the entire coilover off to replace the lower bearing?
    Thanks!

I had to take the coilover out to pound the bearing out. It was in tight. If you had the right kind of press you probably wouldn’t have to remove the coilover completely but you are very limited with space.

I’m sold out of the king spacers, more already on the way. Should be in stock mid next week.

Pull the whole shock, much easier to work with than on the truck.

I considered using a ball joint press. But I think its going to much easier to take the entire thing out and use the shop press

    Hey!
New to the forums but am about to embark on the same task and was looking for anyone with experience. What did you end up doing here? I was also considering the ball joint press while keeping the coilovers mounted since it (apparently) doesnt take too much force to pop them out.
    Thanks in advance!
