Finally got to installing the rear King 3.0 Bypass and what a difference in ride quality over the Fox 2.5 DSC. Waiting on the total chaos mid travel for now I’m on stock leaf springs.

No the rear I am keeping the 3.0 bypass, the front ill be going the 2.5 king because king doesn't offer a 3.0 in a long travel application.

So what are the collapsed and extended measurements of these rear shocks?

You usually can't run long travel shocks on a stock setup and vice versa

I didn't measure the collapsed nor extended, but this bypass you can either be stock height or have an inch of lift. I currently have stock leaf springs with a one inch block. I plan to run the Total Chaos mid travel sua for the rear which will be okay to run this 3.0 bypass and I will remove the one inch block. Someone else asked me if I was going to run the 3.0 up front and I was replying to them that they don't offer a long travel 3.0 shock. I think that is where the confusion was.

Yeah ur gonna need new rear shocks or getting the total chaos SUA kit will be a waste cuz here shocks are gonna limit the travel potential a lot

It wont be a waste because for what I am going to be using my truck it will be enough ie: dunes, flat areas. Later I can add the hoop and install a 10 inch bypass. The total chaos mid travel kit is the same if you use the stock or relocate the shock mount.

So what did you do a 3.0 for if you’re not going to need additional travel?

3.0s seem a bit overkill for non LT'd out Tacoma.
