high castor ucas make tire clearance worse. high castor lcas make clearance better. btf and solo makes some but they are pricey. they are the best option for clearing big tires staying stock width

Yeah, I really love the look of long travel, like a lot, but where I live it's all trees and mountain, already tight enough let alone adding 7 inches to my width (I wouldn't feel right if I went with less than the max lol). It would be enough to make some trails completely inaccessible to me.

What would you recommend? I don't mind the cmr, but I want to avoid cutting my metal fender so the tire can tuck all the way up, I'm thinking maybe a spacer on top so the tire can't get all the way up in my fender (still gonna have a suspension lift) but then I'm seeing I'd run into issues with my ball joints.

I went with 255/85/16s because I didn’t want to do the cab mount chop. The only thing I had to do really is trim some of the inner plastic fender to keep it from rubbing on my tire when turning into a dip or driveway. I would try looking at 35’s but the pizza cutter style.

you could run bump stop spacers to limit travel but i hate the idea of spending thousands on high end coilovers to end up loosing suspension capability. without sacrificing any wheel travel i would do a 1" body lift. and yes the tacoma community seems to hate body lifts but ive always ran a 1" body lift on them and its small enough that youd never be able to tell its done without me telling. that extra inch of clearance cuts down on cutting SIGNIFICANTLY and makes so i dont have to chop up the inner fender under the battery tray aswell as saving the fender flares for the most part. skinny or not a 35 will smash into the upper fender at full bump. some guys let it rub but it starts cracking the rad support.
