I just bought a used set of King Coilovers and I want to pull them apart to go thru and clean and inspect. I've been searching but cant find and sites on the steps for taking apart. Really i just want to pull the coils off more than anything. If anyone has a link to a tread or website that would be great. Thanks

Here is a great resource, to get the coils off you are going to need a spring compressor. I used one of the ones you rent at Autozone, but they are super sketchy and really shouldn't be used for the large springs on our trucks.

Great, that will be MUCH safer and easier. Yup, compress enough to pull the collar and then the spring slides off.

Pretty easy process to rebuild them once the spring is off, I followed those directions for both my coilovers and rears and they went very smoothly, replacing the seals on O-rings is pretty easy.
