Found a head casting at olathe toyota's online site for 675 shipped and ordered it. Must be old stock.

Also ordered Toyota valve seals, head gasket, a few valves, etc from mcgeorgetoyota, which has the best prices I've seen online.

Since you don't have a core deposit you could port and polish your existing head if it's not cracked and join the 160 club if it turns out it's not cracked.
