Hey guys, hoping someone can answer probably a simple question for me...I found some KING coilovers 25001-119A from a local seller that are going for a good price. I want to install them on my 2017 tacoma OR but dont want want to have to change anything else suspesions wise YET like the UCA. I want these coilovers to level out my truck so basically lift the front end 1.5". Am I safe to simply swap these in with my stock ones and not change anything else if I keep them under 2" of front end lift???

A lot of people might give you their $.02 about how "you'll get shitty alignment numbers" or "mall crawler". It's all bullshit. At 1.5 inches to level the front, your stock UCAs will be fine. Overkill in my opinion and it will exaggerate the vast difference compared to your stock rear suspension, but will perform and function without issue.

Those are the standard travel Kings and they will be fine with Stock uca’s. It’s not Just about the height, if you had extended travel it wouldn’t matter what height your at they would over extend your stock uca’s. This is a good upgrade path because they can be rebuilt and changed to extended travel in the future if you get Uca’s as well.

Thanks for the advice, I'll make the upgrade! Buddy of mine is saying not to get KING and to go get FOX...doing a ton of research comparing them and I can't really decide. I think the good price on these KINGS will make my decision pretty obvious.

I mean, as far as I know, you COULD run them as is, just don't leave the pavement or really use more than like 40% of your travel.

Honestly the 2 are very similar for the good kits based on many reviews. If the price is good, go for it.
