I have the King OEM Performance with adjustable valve resivours and recently installed Dakar leaf packs. Sent the shocks to DSM and they replaced the rod ends with longer ends and replaced the lower inner seal caps. This was needed so that the shock would not be the the axel droop limiter and thus damage my shocks. And Large know what he's talkin about, get it done at purchase rather then after the fact it will be cheaper in the long run.

New leaf pack will be about the same thickness as what I'm running now. The spring and shackle length will be the same. If I decide to get a shackle flip kit then I will most likely need something different but that would be way down the road.

Icon MT suspension, Pelfreybuilt front bumper, Relentless skids, Avid sliders, Avid custom rack. Pelfreybilt HC Rear bumper.
I voted Icon. I have the full set extended travel purchased from DSM. The truck is better on the street and frankly pretty amazing in the desert. I have heard well of King but never driven a King equipped truck. After decent tires so I could get some traction, this was best mod. I put on Camburg Upper Control Arms.

Thinking about Icon air bump stops for the rear now.....

Been 10 days. Get the Kings and be done. I am.

I went the King route. I didn't bother with the adjustable. I went with TC UCAs too.

I ran into a small problem with the install. On the rear lower shock mount, I had to make an adjustment to the mount. Using an air chisel, I hammered the center then left and right sides of the mount.

You can see the piece I modified and where it hit on the shock mount (look at the nick on the shock).

Also, get a 1/4-28 tap before you start the TC install-chase the threads for the zerk fittings as they will be full of powder coat. Several have reported breaking the zerk fitting and this is why.

Also, I noticed a lot of folks re-installing the UCA bolt backward. It does make it easier to install if you're working by yourself. However, if the nut loosens, you'll lose the nut and quite possibly the bolt too. I had some help and put the bolt back in from the top.
