There are some short trails up in that hill behind camp that we can play around on. It looks like they're promoting an "overland experience" aprx 1.5 miles north of the campsite with vendor tents and demos, etc.

 

Made a lot of progress towards getting ready for Hammers this weekend, thanks to @Blue Canary and @essjay

- Install 3rd member
- Install axles
- I think I'm going to pull the 5th leaf out of the pack
which means I have to figure out how to press the
bracket out of the 5th leaf and put it in the 4th leaf DONE (we just pulled he 4th leaf)
- Properly pack and set preload on rear hubsDONE
- Install Emergency brake shoesDONE
- Install rear brake calipersDONE
- Bleed entire brake system(Will need to bleed again)
- Figure out how to run Emergency brake line to the brakes(Ran the cables from the rear brakes up towards the front, will need to order a splitter and figure out how to finish them) (Ordered splitter last night)
- Make mounting plate for winch disconnect,
and 2 unrelated breakers, at the Aux battery DONE
- Wire rear winchDONE
- Spool rear winchDONE
- Install new Catalytic converter
- Re-route exhaust around traction bar front mount
- Undercoat front wheel wellsDONE
- Bleed coilovers (oil)DONE
- Re-install coiloversDONE
- Replace back lower control arm nuts/bolts (too long, ripping rack bellows)DONE
- Replace rack bellows
- At this point, pour stop leak in rack (battle for another day)

- Would like to also re-build the tailgate/swing out/ tire carrier,
but don't know if I'll have time.

Also neeed to add:
- Safety wire leaf spring bolts (drilled the heads for the safety wire and installed the bolts)
- Adjust travel on rear bumpstops
- Re-install and re-fill rear bumpstops
- Re-fill front bumpstops
- Replace Aux battery
- Adjust traction bar

 

@10YSON Have you thought about meet up locations and times? I'm cool with what we did last year.... Just beware I'll probably be slower now that I'm on bigger tires

Here is the schedule of events while we will be down there... Looks like our travel (to) day is the day of the EMC Qualifying, which sucks.

 

HUGE changes in the Campbell garage this year

 

I won't be on the road until noon on Tuesday because I have to drop my dog off for boarding. I'll keep you posted when the time firms up but if you want to get down early I can just meet you at camp. I can't wait to get down there.
