Hmmm. I only ever see the term 'coilover' refer to assembled units, and are often adjustable. When it is just a shock and spring that go together, I see them simply referred to as such; shocks and springs. But I could be mistaken. Either way, King coilovers are assembled units.

Hey, I'm about to PM DSMS my order. Am thinking about going with
Front coilovers with compression adjusters- 25001-119A
Rear Shocks with compression adjusters- 25001-121A-D (for Dakar's)
    650 lb springs.
And Total Chaos UCA's, and Dakar's (although didn't see on their site.). I got a Leer shell about a month ago and seeing some sag on my LB, so figure I'd do it right and go with some new leafs.

Sort of a newbie question... What are the pros/cons of Extended Travels? My off-roading is pretty mellow and I don't want too much of a lift. Just enough for clearance of my 285/70/17's.
    Any advice would be appreciated!

If your getting UCAs you must get extended. But even if you didn't get UCAs now, I would still recommend extended travel coilovers anyways.

When I spoke with King, they said all of their coilovers should come with a basic one. They also said there is a nicer one that can be purchased that allows you to adjust them while on the truck. I'd want some confirmation from DSMS or someone who knows for sure though.

I can't 100% confirm though. It is what King said, but I've heard of others having to buy it separately. I guess it just kinda depends.

@YodasTaco If you're getting UCAs, you might as well get extended travel. No real reason not to that I've read.

This looks like the nicer unit - PMing DSMS to add it to the list.

They do come with a basic t-handle nut tool, or at least they did last year. I haven't looked into a nicer one honestly.

Not sure if it was answered, dsms Web site says uniball uca only with king, other sites say LR uca will work, anyone know the answer?, I have extended icons with 700lb springs with no issues.

we do not sell or deal with LR so we can not confirm that they work?
ext travel has an internal spacer removed, its about 1/4 and allows for more droop. you MUST have a aftermarket arm in order to use the EXT travel shocks. if you do not have an aftermarket arm, you must run the standard travel shock. the added droop from the ext travel is too much for the stock ball joint.

they come with the standard pin wrench tool.

see the GB thread OP for details on how to get pricing and send orders.
