Thanks for the heads up. On their site now trying to decide. Found this (suspension kits):

    http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-5...yota-tacoma-4wd-2wd-pre-runner-2005-2015.html

    and this:

    http://downsouthmotorsports.com/cart.html

plus get the 10% discount from the price listed. think they are about ~$2.6K. Need to find out what the difference between the two (other than the UCA's). Going to give them a call tomorrow. If you used the group buy, is this a good price? Thanks.

ed. - couldn't find the $893 coil overs on the site.

Very nice! What's the attachment sticking out on the right side of the UCA?

Shocks installed! The valving seems to be almost spot on. Seems like it doesn't quite have enough rebound, but with no weight in the bed I was kind of expecting that. With 250-300lbs in the bed, it should be perfect. Really stoked to get it in the dirt. Thanks again Micah!

Sorry, but can you explain "the valving" you mentioned? Thanks.

No need, seems to have plenty of clearance. Had a harder time getting the shocks away from the frame. I've got 2" of clearance at ride height to the tire. Haven't flexed it out with the wheels on, but I don't think hey will contact.

I'm looking into getting a set of Kings with Dakars, and sadly missed out on the group buy. I'm curious as to the spring rate folks got. I have sliders and a full set of Pelfrybilt skids. My question is, 650 or 700 lb springs? In the future I would like a bumper, but not in the too near future. Any info would be great. Do you like your setups, would you change anything and do you like the spring rates you got. Thanks

if you plan on a bumper, get 700's. Just be prepared, they are stiff for the stock weight of the front end.

hell no hahaha, the 600's are plenty stiff for my stock weight front end. I'll probably get 650's when i put a bumper on, because I'm already blowing through my travel pretty quickly.

But he has a 2nd gen double cab v6

Figured, most 2nd gen guys get 700. Not sure what I'll get, probably 650

you'd probably be good with that. The only reason i would step up to 650 is that King doesn't recommend more than 1" of pre-load on the front coils. they told me if i wanted more height i needed to get stiffer springs. I don't want to lose any ride height. I'm already pretty low slung.

I imagine that with the the skids it'll make the 700 not a harsh, and if so, may have the expedite the bumper.
