King shocks offroad squeak

    Just ran into this same issue. Poly bushings not the issue but it is indeed the lower rod end bearing on my driver side shock. Ordered a new set for both sides from 303 shock.

    When in doubt, break the stethoscope out

    Replace the lower shock bolts with ones from a 4runner and those lower mount bearings will last a little longer. 4runner's ones have a shaft that is the same diameter all the way through. Tacoma ones taper down halfway across and then it doesn't make good contact with the bearings.
