You can definitely get them tuned and valved to your specific needs. That will make the performance differ. But the shock itself is basically the same.

Most of the people on TW. Shit I'm 100% guilty of that.

@Lil_greenie like others have said, if your bumper is on the way I'd wait it out till you get that on there and then change as needed. If you change your preload you "need" to get an alignment. Raising and lowering your preload changes your alignment numbers and you'll wear through your tires faster.

OP your pre load isn’t that bad with 600lb springs. If you had 700 your teeth would shake. The culprit my be the tires. Coilovers also take some miles to get broken in. How many miles do you have on them? I would look into new tires and maybe back the pre load off 2-3 turns till you get your bumper. Also with that bumper you might want to look into 650-700lb springs if you want to keep the height. I have ADS with 700lb spring, I only have full skids with a bumber planned but as of now they aren’t to stiff

Ah my fellow pigeon brought up a solid aspect...wheeling with your kings will def break them in properly although they should have settled and feel mostly there after a few weeks unless you baby your ride on the road. When I crossed into LT, it didnt break in until I finally hit dirt with it about 5 weeks after my install. If I remove my skids, it is def noticeable in the stiffness of the shocks, but mine are 3/8 steel.

I agree, but this Summer the boys say they are going to bring me out to some starter stuff. Kind of pumped about that.

I have a spacer lift with E-load tires... the ride is extremely stiff, but you'll get used to it. :D
