What’s crazy is 59 people were interested and only 5 committed. Considering the price point we are being offered my only thought for not more buyers is that they thought they were getting Kings for FREEo_O

I was one who was interested, but only extended travel are being offered. I'm only looking for standard travel as I'm not looking to replace my UCA at the moment. Maybe I'm misinformed, but regardless of what has been mentioned in the thread previously; standard travel is not the same thing as extended travel. For that reason and that reason alone I did not commit. The price quoted was more than reasonable.

It was mentioned extended and standard can be the same, just don’t raise them as high, but the option is there to do so if your plans change in the future  #buyoncecryonce

To my knowledge, thats not quite how the suspension works. The extended travel will have the extra droop vs standard travel. They will contact the UCA as the suspension goes through full cycle. Thats a portion of the reason aftermarket UCA are required.

By passing on extended travel now, am I not still employing buy once cry once theology?

    yup lol

Indeed. Got one message that basically expressed this. "way too high"

Correct. Issue is you're the only one that expressed interest without ext travel. We need the 20K buy in for the same setup. I'm really trying to express to the vendor/King that if this restriction was lifted we'd be processing payments already.

I might be being dumb here, but i'm under the impression I can not use extended travel coilovers for a long travel setup. and those are the two ideas I'm trying to figure out which direction i want to go... so that's why I was a "hard maybe" and haven't made up my mind yet.

Buy once cry once with extended travel or REALLY buy once cry once with long travel...

    From the TC website

"2.5" long travel specific coil over shocks bolt into the factory coil bucket location. Extended travel shocks are too short and will not work."

says I need part number :TC5119-03 for my coilovers if I go that route.

So I'm 'that guy' again, haha.

No worries. Thanks for setting this up. I hope it works out that you extended travel folks can get your Kings at a solid price point

Once the initial buy in is done. Then it opens the door for same discounts for everyone via the vendor. So you would be able to get the standard travel at the discounted price.

LT and extended travel are two different animals.

If you want LT, you need to buy LT specific coilovers.

Or they are interested but don't have the funds or need to apply funds to higher priority items. I don't know the price and I would LOVE to do this but I have something things I need to care of first.

Which is 100% ok...but that's why I asked to only vote if willing to commit. We all know the normal price of these so its safe to assume the GB would be a few hundo cheaper...

Yep totally agree. That's reason I didn't vote. Cuz then I'd probably have to lay down the cash. Hahaha

I think I can call any of the well known distributors and haggle a better price. More members would commit if the price was better. Just my 2 cents.

Feel free. I already hit them up and the price was basically the same. Only lower I’ve seen is for a personal quote that I was asked not to make public.
