have almost 30K with everyone. Working with the vendor/king to just go this route. Not sure why King cares bc they make to order so shouldn't matter to them if its a 600 or 700# spring ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Heights and such can be set after they leave the factory though right? If you take them to an installer/rebuilder they could set them to what the king Tacoma 2.5 oem kit would be Id assume, or whatever you want really, right?

Of course. Whoever installs them can adjust the coilover

i helped a girlfriend install her extended Kings. We did it on the truck. Loosen up the collar with a hex nut key and then use the tool they provide (not a spanner wrench but a long tapered metal thing) to adjust height. Inches is based on how many threads are showing. If you loosen the collar more its way easier to turn (learned that the hard way).

I sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience with this GB...talked to Jed and he’s calling King shortly. We easily have the $20K buy in if they will accept orders of different combos i.e 700# w/ adj, 600# without, etc. I think we are close to $30K.

Its probably more of an inventory thing. If you allow for more choices and combinations you lose your economies of scale. The goal is to know exactly what material you need and labor to offer the lower price.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I am interested depending on price! Extended for 3rd gen, probably the 700lb but am fine with the 600 lb

Question to the suspension-savvy folks on here. I am not a suspension guru, but I do love good suspensions- my F800GS has a fully adjustable Ohlins setup, all my Ducatis have had the same- even my 110HP Harley had a fully adjustable suspension. I'm a "brakes/gearing/suspension-beats-horsepower-anyday" guy. I'm on the list to buy a set of these w/700lb springs and adjusters. Gary says they are extended travel. My question is- if I want to remain stock or stock +1" (loaded) am I at risk of bottoming/finding the travel limit of the front shocks (or rear for that matter)-not from the weight but the different travel length? I am looking to replace the rear springs (likely a Deaver pack with 0-1" lift loaded)) as the vehicle will be used for travel/camping/exploring (didn't use the "O" word) but I'd like to hear what you think about the extended length shocks on an otherwise stock IFS.

    Thanks

    G

Can we order just the front coilovers or do we need to do both front & back?

That's a great question, but you should start your own thread. If people start chiming in to answer it, it could derail/hijack the group buy thread's purpose. (Which is why people respectfully have not) I'm sure you will get it answered, and it'll be to your advantage this way. More people will look at it/see it if you make your own thread. Good luck!
