You're right, I'll post the question separately. I posted here because the people here are interested in King shocks and may be knowledgeable in the difference and because the OP recommended it in a PM. Thanks.

I cut/pasted it into a new thread in gen forum. Thanks Gary for your efforts on this. I was looking at the Bilstein 8112/8100 as well and this King deal seemed to be a good fit for what I'm trying to do.

Same. Hoping it comes to form. Jed talked to his “boss” and they have been slammed with commercial automotive lightning contract or something like that.

Haha well the question brought me in. I’m highly interested and would appreciate a quote. I’ve been trying to do research on the differences between Fox and King respectively but the right price may take the decision out of my hands (or wallet)

Edit: love a quote for 600# and 700# w/ adjusters

From reading through the thread it seems that a lot more people are interested in the 650 spring than either the 600 or the 700. Would that not be an option to get us to the the needed number of participants?
That way those that want the 700 could get in on the action and those who don’t want it, won’t have to settle for stiffer rides or setups they don’t really need.

So even with the people that said they "wanted" 650 it wouldn't be enough on its own for the 20K buy in...the vendor is working with King to open it up to whatever setup bc if so, we have well over the $20K

Are we able to order just fronts at this point or is it still just open to the original combinations?

Not for the initial run. Was hard enough mix and matching adjusters/springs rates with King lol

I was searching for this. Looking for clarification as to needing more stuff ie brake lines, pretty sure the shock relocation and spring pack are for 1st gen and not 3rd. Couldnt really find much other than some people state the rear ext really only give about .75" more travel. Any one got some insight ? Looked at some of the other threads involving kings more so geared towards the ext front and all but next to none on rear

Extended Rear is pretty much the norm for 3rd gens with taller aftermarket leaf packs now, and they DO NOT require shock relocation or extended brake lines. In fact, some vendors don't even carry the older "standard" length Kings at this point (for either end). This is also one of the reasons I backed out of this GB, as I don't understand the OP's insistence on buying the standard length shocks for the rear end.

Extended Front shocks require UCAs, though, so buyers need to keep that in mind.

Finally, bump stops and a carrier bearing kit are a pretty good idea, as well.
