Just so you guys know, King doesn't have a lot of stock on the Taco stuff at the moment. So unless Mocha does, it'll be a bit.

So the owner is at some business conference in MN, he will be emailing out a status update tomorrow from king. I'm pretty much useless at this point, but any time yall have questions or want updates I'm forwarding it along.

I'd love to be a stocking dealer, maybe one day.

I understand they are backed up, any way I can get an order number so I can contact King and check on the status myself

Got an email from chris today (owner of Mocha) with my purchasing order number. Says lead time is 5 weeks. Ugh.

Yeah, last time I’m doing a GB. This is crazy to wait that long. If I hadn’t already paid, I would have bailed to get them in a week at most. What a headache

Kings lead times are what they are, typically I see them around a month, I believe he quoted you 4-5 weeks in the email. They must be busier getting in to the season. Just how it goes with such a in demand made to order product, I wouldn't be surprised if EJS or any races and such are slowing them down aswell. I've got customers waiting to get 3rd gen bilstein 6112s since January, and that's a production product. You'd get the same lead time from the majority of other vendors as well, because it's entirely out of their control, even monsters like 4 wheel parts don't stock king. Some keep a steady stream of orders rolling because they know they can move them but they charge high premiums for 700lb coils and things like EXT travel. I hope you guys never have to go through the pain of ordering bumpers from CBI.

That's 100% true. I'll take the heat for the lead time, I thought I'd be shorter based off the last set of kings I sold which was in December. Things must be heating up for them now, just something we are all at the mercy of.

Honestly, it just feels longer because flakes made it take forever to get the order placed in the first place. That added another 3-4 weeks of bs...

Dude. This. I had about 20 people waste time for the ones who want to fully commit on my GB. And another 10 just disappear.

I feel like the more money that needs to be committed the more flakes there'll be. People get afraid to pull the trigger on something that they're buying in a non-conventional way. And they get more worried something will go wrong as more money gets involved.

Well after this they are working on a coupon code that'll be the "group buy" and a portal on their website that will allow people to order and get a confirmation instantaneously, which kinda makes me obsolete . Yes, me having to go find a bunch of dudes to round out the group buy slowed down us getting in with king and straight up jeopardized the entire thing. I'm unsure how to remedy it on group buys that require a large amount of money other than maybe asking for a deposit from people committed. At one point we had over 70 interested, then around 25 committed, then 15 definitely ready to go, then only 6 from that original group ended up paying.
