Our standard coil rate is 650lbs, but for set ups as you described we offer a 700lb coil option. This will hold up the added weight over stock without issue.

ICON is a great choice! :)

Do I need to call and ask for the heavier coil or is there an option somewhere that I have missed?

Just let the dealer you are purchasing through know upon ordering.

As far as we know there is not an issue, might want to double check that with a few others. Maybe some people will chime in to confirm.

How many miles typically before a rebuild is necessary on the icons?

Recommended is 30-40k. Beyond that you need to factor in things like heavy offroad use often, use in extreme conditions hot / cold which may require this number to be lowered. Obviously this is your choice, but that is what we recommend to keep them in good work condition with no loss in performance from wear.

How much is the rebuild kit and how much labor is typically involved?

Any major differences between Camburg and LR UCAs? I see they are both priced similarly.

Rebuild kits are 36.00 each and oil for a pair of shocks is about 35.00. Labor is about 30-60 minutes each depending condition, and if there is a spring being pulled on and off. (sometimes people send them in without them on)

As far as the arms I can not help you there, I can only speak on ours.

Is that something most local suspension shops could take care of? I just hate the idea of having to send in my COs for a week and let my truck sit there on jack stands.

You will need to check with shops in your area, but if they have rebuilt other brand shocks they can do ours. I have had people use motorcycle shops as well, those are the same concept. We can always get someone on the phone with a shock tech if questions arise during the process as well. Glad to assist in any way we can.

I def recommend this....it's not worth much, and way more valuable to you just in case.

If you are that close it would not be bad at all. You get them to us on Monday, we rebuild and ship them back on Tuesday (ICON service day) and you will have them Wednesday.

If even 1 day is an issue, then yes keeping the stock suspension would be a good idea. Tires might rub a little, but if you take it easy you can get by ok.

There's some local guys near Santa Barbara that could rebuild them for you. Stop by the 805 members thread, there's a few fabricators/install guys that could help you out.
Some nearby spots like poly performance, Viking offroad, kibbetech, DTF fab, Adam (dirty dangler)could do it for you.

Where I live, a lot of guys are running King. They have stock UCA and sometimes stock springs. I've seen DBL cabs with caps and reg cabs. The guys I talk to say they love them. The ride is great. They do NOT have any issues. I'm going with Kings.
