Can you be more specific? Are you sure it's the shock and not bushings/balljoint/uniball?
There's really only one part on coilovers that can squeak and it's the spherical bearings...and I've only seen that happen once because the bearing was fuuuuuuuuuuucked (but as fate would have it, it was a DR coilover).

Ok cool, that helps a ton, but seems focused on the CDC and valving that icon offers. I remember you stated that the piston itself (no valving) was digressive but this shows just a valved piston.

Can you share the force/velocity graph too?

More than anything...still looking for that shock parts cutaway diagram that shows the pieces so I can put the damn thing back together without taking drunken cell phone pictures on a Friday night.

    Tried that once.
Piston ended upside down on the driver's side, the top out washer was still on my workbench the next morning, and I somehow I managed to stab myself with the hypodermic charge needle.
    Don't drink and revalve.

I wouldn't put anything else on the Tacoma. I love the ride and their customer service has earned my business

That was an old design that has since been reworked. Unles syou have WAY too much preload, it should never be an issue.

There is still old stock out there with them. But Icon is quick to replace it and take care of the customer.

I will see what I can get Monday / Tuesday when I get back to the office, both Dylan and Kris our engineers are at King of the Hammers as well anyway. We do have a full rebuild section / info page planned for the website in the near future. A general version of this cut-a-way was discussed as part of it. If I can grab it now I will, and post or email it to you.

As SDHQ mentioned that was something addressed about 4 years ago or so. That coilover SN:12611 in the picture you linked to was built Jan 31,2009. We do guarantee the ICON part for life, and if you were ever to have an issue would take care of it right away. In regards to squeaking, that is a broad subject. Yes it could be the shock seals / bearings / etc. or in a lot of cases ends up being something else. Again if this is our issue we have you covered.

Nice! I don't have quite that much awesomeness coming my way, but I am pretty stoked, especially coming off OME. 2.5 ET resis and TC gussets. Still trying to decide on my rear setup, I would like to put 10" RR Kings in, but they will need hoops and I don't know if I will have the room. TBD

I ended up ordering Icons front and rear with a Wheelers 3 leaf HD AAL.

Wheelers hooked up free shipping on the whole thing, those guys rock.
