    Just because there is no resi doesn't automatically mean it's an emulsion shook.

    With a resi, the internal floating piston (IFP) is inside the resi and separates the nitrogen and oil cavities. The IFP can also be in the top of the shock body itself with a resi-less shock. This is the most common setup for a coilover without a resi.

    Good thread. I went with kings up front with no resi. Kinda wish i did cuz who doesnt like driving fast on nasty bumpy roads :p

    And i got a great deal

    As for the rear, i have bilstein 5125s and all pro expo's.

    My question is, will going kings in the rear really make that much of a difference? The expos are pretty stiff... Just a thought that came up as i was reading through this thread

    Im sure i will have to rebuild these prior to the SAS so i will be going with the 650 up front

    Swapping to Kings in the back means you can valve your rear setup instead of the built in valving that you can't change (IIRC) from the 5125s. That will improve the ride by quite a bit!

    Is there a way to adjust the King coilover while it's on the truck? The hose is in the way and there's not enough holes on the collar where the pinch bolt is to rotate it further.

    How did you get them without resis? Called wheelers, DSM, and they said it was not an option. King replied via email saying it's the same price as with resis. So no point to pay $1500 for non resi kings.
