I agree with volcom if you cant access the adjusting bolts due to the hose then it is probably on the wrong side as normally the resi hose is out of the way. Could you snap a pic of your set up? I cant speak for older kings, but mine that I got a few months ago have a rod (looks like a punch)type wrench instead of the classic spanner wrench as that way you can use it in both directions without any issue from the spanner arm.

I adjusted my King yesterday on truck with the punch they provided. I angled the punch and used a hammer to spin it, just enough to spin the ring for the next hole.

Expos from all-pro only give you a 3" maybe a little over lift in the rear. They are the same height increase as the standards from all-pro. The expos just give you more droop and carry weight better. I've had expos for 3 yrs now. Good spring, hold up nicely, but rust very easy. So @jc11taco89 i would spray them down with black rustolum before installing, I recently painted mine.

I was able to spin mine just fine. I used the punch and alot of wd40..lol. But i also have a 1st gen. Not sure if our clearance is different

I bought them from a member here on tw. He had purchased from DSM. Again, mine is a 1st gen so not sure if that makes a difference. I would have loved to get the resi's. You know, extra mall crawler points :p

Maybe when i have them rebuilt ill add them

I beg to differ, I had Expos for a good 2 years on my last truck and unloaded I had between 4"-5" of lift. Once they are fully broken in and you have 300# or more on them daily, youll be around 3" of lift. Thats what they are designed to do, but unloaded you will get 4"+

You also have a camper shell and roof rack in the back. I said Unloaded. That's easily 200# right there

Yea you are correct but I'm referring to the measurements before I had all that. Either way dude we both have good points and expos are a good investment

Yeah, I just want people to be aware that they were designed to maintain 3" of lift with 300# of weight in the bed or more. So putting a 2.5" lift on the front and expos in the rear without the required weight and expecting a level truck...you're gonna have a bad time lol. I can't tell you how many times I've responded to this and had to explain to people that they got heavy duty spring. Yes, I agree, they are great springs and will last a while (although rusty AF! :D), but the major consensus is that you will gain over 3" of lift if you do not have the required weight on them.

Nope I agree I've had to do the same. Like I said my measurements before my topper and rack where just over 3" but not 4" I don't know what's up with that. Know I have the topper and rack it has gone down a little but kept up with a lot more weight. The rust is bad that's why I put in my post about painting it. I had icons at first and never could even the truck out, due to the icon felt bad more I raised them. I have Kings now on a mid travel and it level now but now I'm going LT and I can't wait. Going to re-do the rear after that

It sounds like you are currently running what I have been thinking about getting. Can you give me some insight? I've been eyeing the Allpro expedition springs for a while now as I am carrying a good bit of weight in the back, with a HC bumper, camper, bed/drawer platform , and gear(I'm guessing around 300-350lbs). Along with the allpro spring I've been thinking about going with King's coilovers and shocks in the back. How high do you have your current front coilovers set at? What type Stance/rake are did you achieve? I'm okay with the rear being a little bit higher than the front, but don't want a stink bug stance, as many people have told me, that's what I will have with the allpro's, and my desired set up.

For reference: Dakars unloaded I'm a bit stink bug, probably 2" high in the back. With 2000# in the back I'm Bro-Dozzered by about the same amount.

As you can see from this pic, when you spin to the pinch bolt, one hole is to the left, the other is behind the hose elbow. Both are inaccessible with the punch tool nor a spanner wrench.

I think I'm going to try @jtv method of using the punch tool and tap it with a hammer to move it just enough out of the way for the tool to grab on.
