Do the rears need to be extended lengths, given they are stock springs on AAL?

If 33s won’t fit stock, then they won’t fit lifted either. Prepare for cutting if you plan to use the travel of your new expensive suspension.

Thats the lift that I started with originally on my truck. I would go with Total Chaos or camburg upper arms. Also a good price. Stay with extended travel because you honestly wont regret it. Extended travel counts to the fronts not the rears.

You can spend a hell of a lot less and get a very trail worthy setup that you can also drive on the street. Are Kings really that smooth? I’ve heard mixed reviews about Kings

SPC UCA is a very good product that is probably more appropriate for your use. Cambourg or TC are great products but are more racing/hardcore offroading uca. Your stated use probably won't take advantage of their benefits but will definitely experience their downsides (more maintenance/noise). Filthy Motorsports has a really good video ln the plusses and minuses of the different uca.

Lots of people have been very happy with OME kits and bilstein 6112/5160 combos. BUT my Kings are like riding on clouds. I find myself having to wait along the trail because my bilstein 5100 equipped friends are far behind, getting rattled.

@potmilkz I think you'll be very happy with that setup. But keep in mind, you're gonna have to chop some things (easily done) to fit 33s.

My advice, buy the compression adjusters its an extra $500 but well worth it. If you get them without the adjusters and not custom valved, youll end up with something in between with no adjustability. I had the icon AAL and they were pretty stiff, I swapped them out for the RXT leaf pack and it was a huge improvement. Dont skimp out just to have it now. In the end its worth it to save a little longer to get the extras. Famous saying around here, buy once cry once.

I agree get the compression adjusters.

Just installed my ext kings over the weekend with baja kits UCA and I’m super happy with the plushness.

They are a similar softness to stock, way smoother and consistent feeling through the travel and provide a super controlled feeling over stock....is no bounciness or dive.

    Loving mine

alright guys.. i would take your advice and get the compression adjusters.. but overall this kit isnt bad right? running 33s will require a cab chop? i am fine with that.. ive seen it done and it is no biggie.
