I read the thread... numerous times.

and he already has the fiberglass bedsides. We were saying until hes fully done with the back, Is he going to drive around bedless or with something to keep the road dust (etc) to a minimum

No bed at all. yes with fiberglass, cool thing is Im going to lay sheet metal down and have a 4'x4' area of open space for and ice chest, tool box, or extra gas. By moving my tires way back I actually have more room than I did before. hopefully I dont get hassled by the fuzz, not to worried about it.

started the cage today, let me just tell you, its gunna be sweeet.
Im not going to post up any more pics untill the cage is done, dont want to spoil it for you guys, so hopefully I get it done by this weekend and get to test out the new suspension.

    good progress today.
but no more pics untill its fully built.

Main tubes, rear bumper, and tire carrier welded up and done. Just need a couple cross members, and shock mounts now
Probably wont get to work on it tomorrow, have school all day.

If he is using the previous gen tundra axle, the track is 64.9", the stock tacoma rear track (for his model) is: 63.4"

So switching to the tundra rear axle will give him a 1.5" increase in rear track.

Im waiting for a good deal on the 07+ tundra rear axle. Those are 67.9", and when coupled with two spidertrax spacers which add a total of 3", the rear will end up being 70.9".

The stock tacoma front end is 63" in track. Add 8" to that (or even 8.5") with the Engage front end and you'll have 71" of total front track.

EDIT: Kit, what hubs are you using on the tundra rear? cuz, IIRC, the tundra rear is 5-lug. How are you swapping the hubs out?

Also where did you get your rear axle and how much did you pay for it?

Dude if you find a 07+ axle, please Dont use wheel spacers!! theres no point!
My truck is 89" outside tire to outside tire.
Tundra is not 5 lug, unless they changed this 07+, but i Highly doubt they would 5 lug a full size truck.
So same 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern as my tacoma.

Theres a place around the shop that I bought it from.
