And thanks Jason. You the man. Anyone who comes to KM fab or needs our help on some way should know by now that we do whatever we can to help out those who need it. As much as we live the money that is not why we are here. We are not a big fab shop, we are a family and we take care of our own.

Recently, during one particular boring Sunday, I decided that I was going to try to do a hacked CB radio overhead console install I had seen on one of the jeep forums, and my XJ was going to be the guinea pig. Used a cheap Cobra 19 III I had lying around and took about 4 hours to do. Everything is internal to the console, including the built-in speaker from the CB. In the end, it turned out better than I could have hoped, and I'm now looking at doing this in center consoles etc on tacomas. Thoughts?

*EDIT* mh.meier has volunteered to be the first taco to go under the knife for this CB mod, pics will be posted when complete :D

Thanks man! The way I mounted my speaker could have been better, if I had to do it over I'd mount a remote auxiliary speaker somewhere else or do something more cosmetically pleasing with it. Like I said, guinea pig setup :)

Thank you! This is in my '97 Cherokee, in the overhead console between the front seats. Haven't got around to doing this in my wrangler yet.
