I bought 5 255/85r16 KM3 from discount tire. While they aren't in my hands yet, DT insisted they were in the warehouse (very limited numbers) and will be available to pick up this weekend!

    The wait is over!

I couldn’t find them on their site in that size. What load range is it? E?

The weights published on the Discount Tire website are kind of alarming. They are considerably heavier than the KM2 in the sizes I checked.

    Load range E, 56 pounds (1 lb heavier than KM2) $223 a tire (a little cheaper than KM2!)

Weird, I looked at 4-5 sizes and they were all 6-7 lbs heavier. Though, like everybody else, I can't see the 255/85r16.

Summit racing lists quite a few sizes as well, including the 255 85 16

I called Discount tire down here in SD yesterday and they don't have them in stock or the warehouse. The 265 75 r 16 I want are showing a D rating on the website, but BFG spec sheet say they're a C.

Ok guys I will remove my foot from my mouth now ... even though he said they had 5 in their local distribution warehouse heading my way, they made a mistake ... not available until march 2019 ....

I knew I should have waited until they were in hand ...... the good news is that a bunch of other sizes were released June 1 .. I will wait until next year to get the ones I want mounted on my new rims.

    Reviving this old thread.

I want a set of these tires as well. BFG says they do not have a release date on the KM3 in this size, but an online dealer says March 1, 2019. This is ever easy... I am running Cooper S/t maxx in this size, but need a spare or two. May have to stick with the Coopers because I can actually get them. $244 each online or local but local adds tax. Still need install and balance.

From what I’ve been told and understand is that BFG is behind on production so the March release date isn’t probably going to happen. This also depends on where you’re located. From what I’ve been told they’re working their way west on orders starting on the east coast though from a business perspective that wouldn’t make sense. Anyway, I wouldn’t hold your breath for March is the point.
