why would you buy a beadlock wheel if you dont want the beadlock?

just get the regular enduro wheel... they beadlocks are like $350 per wheel

Sorry bro, That's a part of the rim, not a fake beadlock. You're SOL.

Part of the rim, yes. Real beadlock, no. Real beadlocks have a lot more bolts/nuts holding it in place.

Did you think I was saying that the KMC's have a real bead lock? Negative sir, I must have not written it clearly when I said it was part of the rim.

I don't see why they wouldn't look good on your truck. As long as you like 'em. If you want to see how they'll look on your truck you could try the photoshop thread.

I was referring to this wheel [IMG] which I thought you were responding to saying it was a real beadlock.

I'm fairly certain you can take that ring off. I'd call the manufacture and ask.

Ok, That is not a fake beadlock. It is literally part of the rim. Go see them in person you will understand.

Edit: That may sound more harsh than I meant it. If you see these in person, it is just more obvious that the rim doesn't have a "fake" beadlock. It just looks like the rims lip with some allen bolt heads on it.

It is not a real beadlock. The ring is part of the rim but it doesn't not lock the bead in place there for it's not a beadlock. I'm not sure you know how a beadlock functions.

I'm quite sure how a beadlock functions. I'm also have a good knowledge of the XD series of wheels. Almost all of the guys I hang out with have some version of XD's (I have them too), including the exact ones you're referring too. there is a difference between those rims and this:
That's a fake bead lock, It looks real but doesn't have to be removed to take the tire off, and is street legal.

but I'm not here to argue, I'm here to help people. So lets be friends

A buddy of mine has them on a Chevy. They look good, but his rims don't have the machined lip. He had them powder coated all black.

In person it doesn't look like a fake beadlock, but you can call it whatever you want.
