Thanks man! :D I got the other side on earlier today. I had to cut the balljoint to separate the stock UCA and the balljoint. Then I had to take the whole spindle assembly out to get the balljoint pressed out at a shop, it wasn't coming out with many smacks with a sledge and the use of a balljoint press.

A little more plush than the old Yota seats.

They look like they've hardly been used. Where'd you pick them up? CL?

Oh yeah, definitely! They hold you in place pretty well too. I found them on craigslist. They were the guy's winter seats for his STI lol

(I'll say something nice now...For anyone wondering, those UCAs Kyle has looked real legit.)

Not a whole lot, just modified two of the holes on the legs, one lined up fine and the last one I had to drill a new hole to put a bolt through. Definitely worth the work lol

Yeah...the squeaking noise of my bad u-joints is pissing me off. Should have them fixed tomorrow or sometime next week lol. :anonymous:

I love my light racing UCAs, the truck handles much better with them on!

UJ probably a couple hundo if thats what it is. Part is not expensive and then labor time, couldn't imagine over 2 hours.

I like the ball joint on that setup. Looked beefy. Looked really solidly built.

Yup, bad U-joint. Closest to the diff. Kyle came over to the shop today after some frustration. Lifted up the rear wheels and I climed under and spun the drive shaft. Sure as shit, squeaking right from the UJ.

Thanks man! It totally worth the work!

    Yeah, hopefully it's not bad.

The ball joint is also much easier to swap out if needed than the stock setup

I called it :p I'm still wondering what they were doing at monro when they were "diagnosing" my truck. I told them what the sound was and where I thought it was coming from. I even said, "I'm pretty sure it's a bad u-joint." Definitely not taking my truck back there again lol.

First of all, and not to delve deep into Kyle's personal business but...Very cool the way your supporting your girl man, very cool.

And updating for Kyle...he got the U-joint taken care of. He took the drive shaft out himself and took it down to a driveline shop and hand them R & R the U-joint. His ears have thanked him.

Thank god that U-joint is fixed! That squeak/squeal was so annoying lol.

Sure she feels a lot better knowing she's got somebody who'll lift her up when she needs it. The bright side is, you guys can make it through something like this, everything/anything else in the future seems trivial.

Yeah, that's how I feel about the whole situation. I know we can make it through this and her treatment is working so things are working out!
