Yes I have been using the filter and the cleaning kit for 2yrs. And works really well. I like that I can just pull it out and wash it whenever I'd like or every oil change easily. Worth the money upfront and cheaper in the long run. Just make sure you take care of cleaning it.

Just bought it also. Heck, the cheapest paper one on Amazon was $8. So it will pay for itself after 4 replacements......

the filtering is good but it has a loose fit and leaves are getting pass. so i have to add weather stripping around the edges to prevent debris from passing through.

Not worth it. You can get paper filter for ~$5 on Amazon that you change once a year. For the price of the K&N, that's 6-7 years worth, and I'd much rather have a new filter versus having to clean one every year.

If these incabin are anything like their engine air filters, they'll probably let a bunch of stuff through anyhow.

I'll pass. Not a fan of having oil coat everything downstream and having MORE dirt pass through and into the cab.

I have one in my 13'. I only bought it because the auto store was all out of the regular paper ones, and i was leaving on a road trip in the morning. I have nothing bad to say about it. I have had it in since October so no dusty times or pollen yet.

Mine fits fine, and filters the cabin air just fine. I clean it every other oil change. On this site you either like K&N products or you don't.

I have one too. ~$35 meh no big deal, saves me the time and cost of having to go to a dealer and get paper ones or whatever. Plus I can wash it out when I want like someone said above with the pollen season. Or if I go out on a dusty trail.

And the cabin filters don't require oiling, not sure where people pulled that notion. Only thing KN calls for is their cleaning kit but I'm pretty sure that is mainly to give a refresh to cabin smell cause their directions still say use water to clean, in addition to their spray cleaner.

I haven't noticed any less efficacy out of the KN over the crap factory tissue paper.

Works well for me. Don't believe they are oil coated like the air filters. Pollen season here, just cleaned mine today.

Also don't want the smell of the cleaner residue and oil from the filter blowing in the cabin.

K&N cabin filters are NOT oiled - I clean mine with Simple Green, air dry, a little spritz of Ozium - nice fresh cabin scent - still not likely to convince the anti K&N crowd - as stated earlier, you either like'em or you don't.

Reusable filters of any type will never filter as well as a disposable type. The reason? Reusable media needs to have a looser weave so that the dirt can be washed out.

If you have allergies, you want to stick with a disposable paper filter and change it out more frequently.
