A friend was trying to throw me a set of car keys this morning and they hit smack dab on the hood of my truck, chipping the clear coat and paint down to wear I can see grey. It's just 3 small knicks but I'm concerned it may cause further damage. What's the best way to fix this?

Touch up paint a few light layers deep (allow them to cure a bit between) and if you are really meticulous, carefully wetsand down and polish it out. I have used my paint pen I bought from Toyota many times like this and really cannot see the paint blemishes unless I am looking hard for them.

I use an artist fine lettering pen, offers way more control than the touch up bottle brush.
