Hey guys, I have a 98 Taco V6 2wd, CEL keeps reading both knock sensors malfunctioning. Had them replaced and harness, still throws same code. Mechanics had it back a few times checking for shorts, timing belt etc, even rechecked the knocks and ohms were fine. Still throws same codes. Now he's leaning toward replacing ECU. Do you guys feel the same or should I try MAF as well or even O2? Got a second opinion from Dealer for $115 also reading knocks. Dealer says according to them no need for new ECU or update. Might be a short somewhere. WTH do I do now?

What can I do on my own to save money? What's the story with Seafoam for carbon build up? Any thoughts? I'm getting several opinions on my truck.
