Hello all I’m a new member to this forum. Hoping somebody will be able to give some advice. I’ve got an 07 Tacoma v6 automatic and the check engine light would come on randomly. Code p0333, truck would lose power and not shift to 5th. I tore it apart to get to the knock sensors and the wiring doesn’t look bad, I spliced the wire at the connector right behind the engine as I’ve heard you can run both banks off one sensor to get the truck out of limp mode. Reset the check engine light and fired it up, light came right back on but now I’m getting code p0327, sensor 1 bank 1 low voltage. Is it possible that I’ve got the wrong 2 wires spliced together??

Anything's possible... Or just a bad splice.

Looks like the green and black get spliced together.

That could be it then I guess, I spliced the black and red

UPDATE: for anyone else referencing this, I went back and spliced the black and the green together. Reset the light and have had no problems so far

I HAVE an 06 4.0 my cel keeps going on and off . P0333. I'm going to try replace the harness. I have read through some forms that the coolant pipe bands need to be cut to have access to the wires and sensors. Is it possible without cutting?
