Replaced my knock sensors and wire harnesses today. Took it for a spin, it came up to temp and got the P0333 again. Any ideas??

Did you use OEM parts and torque them correctly?

Was the sub-harness damaged by rodents or why were you replacing them?

Sounds like you have an open in the Bank 2 circuit.

Why do all that when you can just unplug EE1 and check the voltage across Pin 4 (Green) and Pin 6 (Red) on the PCM side of the harness with the key on and the connector unplugged you should see 4.5-5v across the 2 pins if the wiring is good between the PCM and that connector.

    You could do that.
To be honest, I didn't want to look at the diagrams.
It was just easier to "Copy and Paste".

Admittingly, I've been a bit lazy and not too thorough lately.
I don't know what it is, I want to help. But the the time it takes, and typing out step by step procedures, is "less than fun"
I should do better, I know.

No worries, that is what Toyota has you doing in the flow chart for that code but it would be much easier to do one voltage check than 4 resistance checks.

Yeah, it's good to have guys like you that see the "shortcuts".
I don't do this every day, I literally research just about every issue I reply to.
I haven't had any real problems with my truck. So I have little first hand experience on with the Tacoma.

90% of the time "I literally research" the issue.
I don't do anything special. 90% the people on this forum could do what I do. I think some just don't know how to utilize the power of google search.
And that's not throwing off on them either. There are "cheats" or tips and tricks to narrow down what you're looking for. You just have to "word" it correctly.
