I picked up some really suspect knock sensors off Amazon for my lexus es300 and was wondering if I can connect them to the vehicle without installing them to make sure they actually work.

I got both knock sensor codes and assumed the wiring harness was bad, so broke it all down and replaced the wiring and put it all back together... and now I still have a P0330 knock sensor code. So I guess one of the sensors actually WAS bad and I made a terrible assumption.

The good? I can probably tear it apart and put it back together in less than 3 hours without breaking anything this time... The bad? I bought both sensors on amazon for $27 and I'm scared to install them... Especially after seeing the packaging... Surely these aren't OEM Toyota "CLOCK" sensors.
