You know what!! No need to cut or chop or buy different tires. Just let about half the air out of the ones you got and ta-da!! Problem solved.

CMC won't help that, but it looks like he's still rubbing the cab mount so it will help him regardless. That fender flare can be trimmed easily. The dirty stuff you see there is from him removing his mud flaps.

I'm rubbing the same areas as the OP with my 17x8.5 -10 SCS F5s and 34/10.5/17 KO2s. I've trimmed part of the fender flare already and am doing the CMC tomorrow. Going to get aligned next week to push the wheel forward and then revisit anymore trimming that may be needed.

Wheel, tire, suspension, type of driving, alignment all are in play which determines if and how much rubbing you will get. Just because someone with the same setup doesn't rub doesn't 100% guarantee that you won't rub. It all comes with modifying your vehicle with non factory spec'd parts.

OEM offset gives the best clearance.
    Makes things worse.

The black piece of metal that the lugs of the tire are hitting is the cab mount, the cab mount chop will cut that and move it back to give him clearance.

It does look like he is rubbing on the fender as well. He could either cut it, live with it, or have his truck re-aligned and see if they will move his wheels forward .5"-1"

Doing both would be an advantage for OP because under compression, if he stuffs his tire while turned he will rub on the cab mount even with the wheels being moved forward.

I'm on a 34/10.5/17 on stock rims and have minimal rubbing. Im still running mudflaps too. 2" lift

Wish I would have gone with a wheel closer to factory specs, but I did my CMC today and getting a better alignment next.
