I think you’re right. I’m getting the Duratracs mixed up with another tire. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them though! They would be great in 255s

I ran the Duratracs in 265-75-16 load C. Loved everything about them except.....they would not balance. Visible shake in steering wheel and passenger seat at 60mph. After multiple tries I sold them (was going up in size anyway). Running DC EC's in 255-85-16 now. GREAT tire so far, just a little noisier on the highway than the Dura's. And balanced perfectly.

What load rating are your DC EC's? I have the same setup in an "E" rating and I'm getting a lot of vibration that I believe is because of the balance.

I can say stay away from E rated.
Didn't know how much of a difference it made until switched form KO2 s E rated to C rated.
    Much smoother ride.

If you go up to 17" wheels you can get the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Highly recommend them. Very quiet for a AT/MUD hybrid and no vibrations.

The K02's are the only tire that I am aware of, that has the approved safety Mountain "Snow Flake".

According to tirerack.com both tires have a 8.8 excellent snow rating. Both were searched in c load.
