Ko2 vs Duratrac vs Extreme Country

    2017 Tacama
    I have a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off-road and am currently looking for a 265/75r16 size. I have narrowed it down to the bfg ko2, goodyear duratrac, and dick cepek extreme country. I live in eastern Oregon so we get lots of snow and ice in the winter and need something with good traction there. I will be traveling 500+ miles back and fourth to college. So, I want something not to loud on the freeway, but also like to do a good amount of off-roading with my friends and want the tire to be reliable off road. What would be the best choice? I am open to suggestions.

    2015 TRD Offroad double cab
    No experience with the others but my 15 DCSB has 85k on a set of 265 75-16 Duratracs and besides getting a little noisy and a little more slippery in the rain- I’ve been 100% happy. They still show decent tread and have worn totally even. Truck has been lifted 3” the whole time they’ve been on. I’m going to 255 85’s on steel wheels and would love another set of these but they don’t make them in that size... bummer.

    85k miles or km? Either way wow. My father and I both have them, and both have been approached numerous times by people asking about them. Certainly never had that happen before haha.

    A TRD OR built into a Baja/PRO hybrid
    I've ran KO2's and currently running Duratracs in that size. The KO2's are only available in an E rating which is honestly overkill for a daily driven truck unless you do a lot of offroading or extreme terrain. Since switching to the C rated Duratrac I've noticed a huge improvement in acceleration, stopping, and cornering. Don't get me wrong, I loved the KO2's, but damn they were heavy. Duratracs so far make a little more noise than my KO2's did when new. Both options are snow rated so it's all good there.
